From legacy Dal Pakwan to traditional Maharashtrian delicacies, we bring pure vegetarian recipes passed down through generations to your special occasions.
I believe in taste first, always. Here are three of my most popular Sindhi dishes that represent true, authentic flavour: Dal Pakwan, Sindhi Kadi Chawal with meetha boondi, and Koki. This is the food my family has been making for over 70 years.
Catering for the Sindhi Chetichand festival is always a special occasion. This video shows my team in action, serving traditional Sindhi snacks and managing the buffet for a large community gathering in Ghatkopar.
Our elegant buffet setup for a Maharashtrian Janyu, or thread ceremony. The menu for this event included traditional favourites like Ukdiche Modak to honour the cultural significance of the day.

About this collection
When you choose our traditional menu, you are getting a setup that respects the occasion. We serve everything in authentic copper and brass chafing dishes, which keeps the food at the right temperature and looks perfect for events like a thread ceremony or community festival. My team understands that for cultural events, the presentation matters just as much as the taste.
For 70 years, we have focused on one thing: pure vegetarian food that tastes like ghar ka khana (homemade food). Whether you are hosting a traditional Sindhi Chetichand celebration or a Maharashtrian Janyu, the food should reflect your family's roots.
My approach is simple. I only cook what I know well. My Sindhi menu features classics like Dal Pakwan served with tangy Katta Meetha chutney, Sindhi Kadi Chawal topped with meetha boondi, and crispy Koki. For Maharashtrian events, we prepare authentic Ukdiche Modak and other regional favorites that guests recognize immediately.
We don't do 'fusion' for the sake of it. If you are planning a puja or a satvik event, we provide a strictly no-onion, no-garlic menu that follows traditional dietary requirements.
Practical details for your event planning:
- Service Style: We handle everything from standard buffet lines to elegant live counters.
- Setup: We provide uniform staff and traditional copper/brass serving ware to ensure your buffet looks cohesive and elegant.
- The Numbers: My advice is always to plan your guest count carefully. We recommend booking for 10% less than your expected headcount because caterers almost always prepare extra food. This keeps your budget under control without compromising on quality.
We cater to venues across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, from Thane to local community halls. If you want a menu that your older relatives will appreciate and your guests will genuinely enjoy, let’s talk about your requirements.
